  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together lukewarm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  3. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a damp cloth for about an hour.
  6. Prepare the filling by mixing sugar and cinnamon; coat raspberries in this mixture.
  7. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle and spread the raspberry-cinnamon mixture on top.
  8. Roll tightly from one long edge and slice into twelve equal pieces.
  9. Arrange slices in a greased baking pan and let rise for another thirty minutes.
  10. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) while rolls rise.
  11. Bake for about twenty-five minutes until golden brown.
  12. Prepare lemon glaze by whisking powdered sugar, lemon juice, zest, and vanilla extract together; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
