Ingredients

  • 1 salmon fillet
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar (optional)
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 medium sweet potato, peeled and sliced into wedges
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss sweet potato wedges in olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking tray and roast for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), sesame oil, and optional rice vinegar. Place the salmon on another tray, brush with glaze, sprinkle black sesame seeds, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  4. Steam broccoli for about 4-5 minutes until bright green.
  5. Serve salmon alongside sweet potato wedges and steamed broccoli.
