  • 20 mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (plus extras for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and Greek yogurt. Mix on low speed until combined, then increase to medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Fill each cupcake liner with one tablespoon of batter. Place one mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup in the center and cover it with more batter until two-thirds full.
  4. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely before frosting.
  5. To make the frosting, beat together room temperature butter, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until fluffy.
  6. Frost cooled cupcakes generously and garnish with additional mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups if desired.
