  • 2 tablespoons sofrito (optional)

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken drumsticks, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, Sazon seasoning, and sofrito (if using). Mix thoroughly to coat the chicken evenly.
  2. Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 24 hours to enhance the flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Arrange the marinated chicken on a baking tray and bake for 30 minutes. Flip the chicken over and bake for an additional 20 minutes. Increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for the final 5-10 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
