  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100g cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in a skillet until translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until softened; then stir in spinach until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Remove from heat; mix in grated cheese and cream cheese.
  5. Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares (24 total).
  6. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square; fold and seal edges.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg wash.
  8. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheet for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving warm.
