  • 125 g unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 180 g plain flour (all-purpose)
  • 75 g dried cranberries (finely chopped)
  • For the glaze: 120 g powdered icing sugar
  • 30 ml orange juice
  • 1 tsp melted unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°C (335°F).

  3. Cream together butter, orange sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.

  5. Shape dough into a disc and roll out to about ½ cm thick; chill if too soft.
  6. Use cookie cutters to shape cookies; place on parchment-lined trays and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden around edges; cool on wire racks.
  8. For the glaze, whisk icing sugar, orange juice, and melted butter until smooth; dip cooled cookies.
