  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed (for streusel)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces (for streusel)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for streusel)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, whole milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  5. For the streusel topping, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  6. Fill muffin cups two-thirds full with batter and sprinkle streusel on top.
