Ingredients
Scale
1 1/2 – 2 pounds flank steak
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine all spices for the spice mix and set aside.
In a large resealable bag, whisk together olive oil, orange juice, lime juice, brown sugar, and half of the spice mix. Add the flank steak to marinate for at least 4 hours (up to overnight).
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade and pat dry; rub with remaining spice mix.
Grill each side for about 5–6 minutes until desired doneness is reached (130–135°F for medium rare).
Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
