  • ½ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup salted butter (softened)

  • 1 teaspoon pure almond extract
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • Powdered sugar (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, brown sugar, softened butter, all-purpose flour, egg, and almond extract. Mix until just combined.
  3. Roll out puff pastry into an 11×11 square and cut into twenty-four 2×2 inch squares. Press each square into a mini muffin pan.
